We produce both tallow and vegetable derived azelaic acids according to end-application and customer demands. Ozone acids are transformed into pelargonic or azelaic acid by ozonolysis.

Azelaic acid is an outstanding component for the preparation of high-performance copolyesters for use in adhesives, films and fibers. Azelaic Acid is an excellent choice as a modifying agent in the production of copolyester polymers. Moreover, azelaic acid is finding increasing application as a complexing agent for lithium complex greases.
Pelargonic acid is used in polyol structures for synthetic lubricants in industrial and land transportation applications as well as for a variety of other ester applications such as plasticizers. Pelargonic acid is also used as a derivative in the agrochemical segment.
